This week I showcase a creative interpretation of jellyfish using a neurographic art style, which is characterized by flowing, organic lines and patterns that resemble neural networks or pathways. I find that neurographic art techniques can be applied to natural subjects to create work that is both abstract and recognizable, merging scientific and artistic sensibilities.
These three watercolor paintings showcase a creative interpretation of jellyfish using a neurographic art style, which is characterized by flowing, organic lines and patterns that resemble neural networks or pathways. I have combined the structured patterns of neurographic art with the fluid nature of watercolors to create pieces that capture both the biological and mystical qualities of jellyfish. The deep blue background throughout the series unifies the works while allowing for different experimental approaches to the jellyfish.
These are AWESOME!!!
I love that Mary is finding interesting and beautiful ways to use this technique! Love it.
